Maintenance Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

Successful completion of appropriate training in plumbing, electrical, and/or carpentry skills.

Also required is a minimum of 5-7 years of related maintenance experience and 3 years of supervisory.

SKILLS

Good interpersonal abilities

Ability to work successfully with limited supervision

Cost estimating, maintenance planning, purchasing and organization talents.

Analytical judgement of renovation projects.

Ability to analyze work orders, prioritize complexity of workload, and assure quality performance which may include devising own methods to achieve satisfactory results, with no margin for error.

Ability to develop and supervise a successful team of maintenance staff.

Working knowledge of OSHA standards regarding housekeeping and work controls.

Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License.

 

 

 

Chief Financial Officer

QUALIFICATIONS

A. Education

1. A minimum of a Bachelors level degree in public administration, accounting, finance or a related field is required. A minimum of 10 years related experience with a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience is also required.

B. Experience

1. Ten years and up of experience in an appropriate position in a profit or not-for-profit organization, with demonstrated supervisory and administrative experience.

2. Experience in budget preparation, financial management, and accounting

3. Experience in program and staff planning and development.

C. Skills

1. Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in written form with a high level of organization and conciseness.

2. The ability to address large audiences.

3. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain, in a professional manner, relationships with community leaders, administrators, funding sources, staff, and the public-at-large.

4. Demonstrated ability to synthesize the diverse efforts and activities within a complete multi-service agency.

5. Ability to be creative in problem solving.

6. Ability to assess personnel, their qualifications and limitations.

7. Ability to coordinate the use of community services and resources.

8. Leadership abilities, which include group skills, training skills, ability to delegate responsibility and use authority productively.

9. Knowledge and sensitivity to Catholic Social Teaching.

Qualifications

A. Education

1. Associate degree, with a minimum of (3) years general office experience.

OR

2. High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of (1) year additional business or computer training, with a minimum of (5) years general office experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

B. Experience

1. Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years general office experience.

2. Demonstrated competence in all office applications; skill/knowledge of Word, Excel and all applicable software packages.

3. Budget experience.

C. Skills

Residence Manager

III.QUALIFICATIONS

 

  1. Education

  1. Bachelor degree, or be licensed as a registered nurse, or be licensed or certified in a mental health discipline.

 

  1. Experience

  1. A minimum of two years human service experience

  2. Educational or direct experience in human services focused on mental health or MRDD.

  3. Experience in program and staff planning and development, and a demonstrated ability to supervise others.

 

  1. Skills

  1. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain in a professional manner, relationships with clientele and personnel within and outside the Agency, and to work intimately with direct care staff.

  2. Ability to communicate orally and in written form in an organized and concise manner.

  3. New York State Driver’s License to be used commensurate with program needs.

  4. Must demonstrate those general skills and personality traits deemed necessary to successfully meet the demands of the position.

Relief Counselors 

Per diem $14.58/hour: needed for residential programs in Utica and Rome. Minimum qualifications include High School diploma with previous experience working with individuals with disabilities

Potential candidates must be 21 years of age with a clean driving record, and must pass NYS Criminal Background Check.
