Camp Nazareth recently received a generous donation in the amount of $18,100 from Maplehurst Bakeries. A check presentation was made on 1/18/17 at the bakery in Frankfort, NY. This donation was made possible by the Weston- Seeding Stronger Communities Employee Fundraising Campaign. Maplehurst employees chose Camp Nazareth as the charity to support with this year’s fundraising drive and were thrilled to raise $9,000 locally. This donation was then matched by George Weston Limited.
As Brad Potter, Director of Family & Community Supports Services states, “Because of the generosity of Weston-Seeding Stronger Communities campaign, Maplehurst Bakeries and their employees, many children will be able to enjoy the Camp Nazareth experience this summer. We at Catholic Charities Oneida/Madison County wish to extend our warmest appreciation for making the gift of summer camp possible for our youth, while creating hope and transforming lives.”
We look forward to operating Camp Nazareth’s 64th year of residential summer camp this year. Visit www.campnaz.org for more information!
